Roland Dahinden Alphorn, Radio

Hildegard Kleeb 1815 Square Piano, toy piano

This fabulous trio of internationally renowned musicians focuses on collaborations with contemporary composers and visual artists. Its projects involve improvisations and composition of new pieces.

For the event at the Tatton Park Mansion, the musicians prepared site-specific sound performance. The performance will take place during 4 hours on Sunday. In collaboration with Charbel Ackermann the musicians are conceiving a sound environment retracing atmospheres and memories of the stately home and the kind of flights of fancy that the designers of great gardens aimed at.

Dahinden and Kleeb are a Swiss Duo. They have lived and worked in the UK and the USA where they collaborated with Anthony Braxton, Alvin Lucier and Christian Wolff for concert performances and CD recordings. The British-Swiss Phillips is an internationally active sound engineer/audio designer and performer based in Switzerland. His work involves analog and digital effect processing for live-performances and computer music.

Concerts und performances in Europe, America und Asia. CD recordings e.g. for Everest Records, Bern; Hat Hut, Basel; Mode Records, New York; Lovely Music New York; Col Legno, Vienna.
