Simon Ho - Before sleep
The album was released in 2002 and is out of date. But Simon Ho is still the only true pop music composer in Switzerland who does not need to hide behind anyone. For quite some time he has been listening to his sophisticated and well-sounding music. Be it through theater music or compositions for strings. With "before sleep" he gives us a dream. The musicians of "The Nits" (!), "Züri West", "Shoppers", "Maozinha" and the "I Salonisti" play in it and many more with very well-known names. Stylistically, Simon Ho can not be fixed and he does not have to. He moves freely and unhampered from a corner of pleasure to the colors of reason. The sensitivity of the arrangements shows the high art that he kept hidden from us all these years. This music is valuable - if you do not already know it, you should buy the album before Simon Ho settles abroad and leaves us on our cheap seats for lack of appreciation.
some vocal recodings and one whole song recorded by me.
