Be a bee
Sound Installation
A journey to a state in wich one can not be.
Enter in to a sociaty to wich we do not belong.
Step in to a room that is closed.
Unroll in a housing without invitation.
Maybe tolerated.
Listen to a language we do not understand.
Sing with them, without knowing if someone is listening.
And finally step out without being able to fly away.
«be a bee» is a artistic implemetation of the research project "about the sound of bees" in form of a sound installation of Beat Hofmann and Andrew Phillips. The goal is to to bring the lifeborm "bee" closer to the human through artistic expression and to enhance our sensibility to the difficult life situation of this animal.
Installation 2014 zoological Museum of the Universaty Zürich.
Next installation 2015 Museum Allerheiligen Schaffhausen.
